The Burning Godzilla Selvedge is part of our official Godzilla® collaboration, this time inspired by one of the most iconic and volatile versions of the character, Burning Godzilla, from the 1995 film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (ゴジラVSデストロイア).
In that film, Godzilla reaches a critical point. His heart functions like a nuclear reactor, and it’s in meltdown mode. His skin glows with radioactive heat, veins of fire running across his body, and his Heat Ray transforms into the devastating Burning Heat Ray (バーニング熱線 Bāningu Nessen). It’s one of the most striking designs in the franchise and one of the most emotionally charged endings in kaiju cinema.
The denim reflects that energy.
We used a super-heavy 20oz Japanese rope-dyed indigo selvedge, stiff and rich with texture. The interior weft glows in a deep, saturated orange-red, echoing the internal heat surging through Burning Godzilla’s body. The selvedge ID is metallic red, a nod to the concentrated blast of his final Heat Ray.
The fabric is woven in Japan on vintage shuttle looms and has a dry, structured feel. It’s made for those who like a challenge and those who want to break in a heavyweight pair and watch it evolve.
A natural vegetable-tanned leather patch is embossed and silver foil-stamped with Burning Godzilla artwork. Inside, you’ll find full-color printed pocket bags featuring official poster art from the film, and a dual-branded woven labelmarking the Godzilla® collaboration.
The Strong Guy is a relaxed straight fit; high rise, fuller in the seat and thigh that falls to a wide leg opening.

Returns
- We do not offer refunds; items may be returned for store credit (in the form of a gift card) within 30 days of order fulfillment. Items must be in new condition with original tags—unworn, unaltered, unwashed, and damage-free. Sale items are final sale and not eligible for store credit.
If the purchase was made in Canadian Dollars, store credit is issued in USD at the exchange rate at the time the credit is issued. At checkout, this credit is converted back to CAD.
