The Secret Agent Denim is a 14oz Japanese denim developed from a fabric that was nearly discarded. During development in Japan, an entire lot of denim was unintentionally water-exposed, resulting in uneven coloration that made it unsuitable for standard production.
Rather than allowing the fabric to go to waste, the mill collaborated with a nearby Japanese dye house to carefully bleach the denim at the fabric stage. This process transformed the material into a pale, cloudy indigo with a soft, consistent finish. The fabric is received in this state and cut and sewn without any garment washing.
