We're very excited releasing three new Naked & Famous Denim skateboard decks, the first decks we've produced in Canada.
The decks are made at a factory in Quebec City. Each uses a classic popsicle shape, 7-ply maple construction, and an 8.25" width. All three have pale indigo tops.
Look closely at the side of each deck and you'll find a red accent ply running through the layers. It is not actually selvedge, but it creates a line that looks a little like a selvedge edge. Garrett has been calling it the “sandwich selvedge".
Three Editions
Tragic Blond
Tragic Blond uses the classic Naked & Famous Denim pop-art artwork. It is the familiar logo, now on a Canadian-made deck with the pale indigo top and red side accent.
Flower of Carnage
Flower of Carnage features our Made in Japan manga-inspired artwork. The illustration was created by Alvin Lee and brings one of our most recognizable graphics to the new 8.25" deck format.
Empire State
Empire State features the New York City edition of the Naked & Famous Denim artwork, Empire State of Salvage. Like Flower of Carnage, the artwork was created by Alvin Lee.
Release
The Tragic Blond, Flower of Carnage, and Empire State skateboard decks release Thursday, August 6 at 11 AM ET.
Available at nakedandfamousdenim.com and nakedandfamousdenimnyc.com, online and in store.
