Undyed Frankenstein Denim
The Undyed Frankenstein Denim is a 14oz Japanese denim masterpiece, intricately woven in an alternating twill pattern. This denim is a delightful medley of denim intricacies: as an alternating twill, it transitions between left-hand twill for two inches, and then right-hand twill, switching back and forth throughout the fabric. Adding to its characteristic texture, we've used a big slub yarn which alternates between thick and thin sections, delivering an extraordinary tactile experience. Because this denim doesn't adhere to a single twill direction, it can't undergo the anti-skewing process - a finishing technique that normally negates the natural twist of fabric. As a result, the left-hand twill portions will slowly twist to the right, while the right-hand twill sections will twist to the left over time. The yarns are composed of unbleached, undyed cotton, for a natural, raw aesthetic. Made entirely from 100% cotton, this denim offers a classic rigid feel and is teeming with intense texture. The jeans are finished with tonal stitching, a vegan-friendly apple leather patch (which we've amusingly placed upside down), traditional button fly, and silver metallic hardware. As always, every pair is meticulously crafted in Canada.
