Mainline Selvedge
The Mainline Selvedge recalls the gritty, hardwearing, but lightweight denim railroad workers wore in the ‘20s and ‘30s.
Vintage character pulses through the fabric. Small neps - knots and imperfections – are usually burned off in finishing processes, but they’re left intact here offering the fabric a rich, organic texture. The mid-blue shade of indigo, white selvedge ID, and white stitching throughout are more authentic elements of denim in the early 20th century.
Weighing in at 9oz, you could wear the Mainline Selvedge to build an infrastructure connecting the far corners of a country. Or you could appreciate the fabric more comfortably even as the mercury starts to rise.
